Privacy Policy

• Order data: your email address, the titles you bought, amount, currency and time of purchase.
• Account data (members only): your name, email address and your library of purchased books.
• Payment data: handled by our payment provider. We see only the result and the last four digits.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages viewed, used to keep the store secure and working.
• Support messages you send us.

To deliver the books you bought, issue invoices, provide re-downloads and support, prevent fraud and misuse, meet our tax and accounting obligations, and improve the store. We do not sell your data, and we only send marketing email if you ask for it.

Only with the service providers we need to run the store — payment processing, email delivery, hosting and file storage — each acting on our instructions, and with authorities where the law requires it. Some providers operate outside the UAE; where data is transferred abroad we rely on contractual safeguards that require an equivalent level of protection.

Order and invoice records are kept for five years to satisfy UAE tax and commercial record-keeping rules. Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days of closure, apart from records we must retain. Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months.

Under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data you may ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its use, ask for it in a portable form, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@nexaluna.world and we will answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is limited to staff who need it. If a breach affects your data we will notify you and the authorities as required. The store is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
